
Robert Thornburgh ’61 sent this great photo, above, of Torrance from the 1950’s/1960’s. A portion of BMHS is in the bottom right of the photo. “That might even be Father Joseph standing outside the Physics lab having a smoke,” writes Robert.

Ron Coulombe ’68 wanted to share his story with the community. He writes: “I have advanced kidney disease. My challenge now is to find someone who is willing to donate a kidney to extend my life. It’s a BIG ASK but I’m told it’s possible to find a live kidney donor. So, my journey begins. Wish me luck and please share my story.” As of the publishing of the magazine, six people agreed to be tested to see if they are a match for Ron.

Mike Long ’69 retired in Costa Rica in 2014. He is married to Costa Rican Xinia Delgado, 16 years his junior. “I married for the first time at age 67. It was her first time at age 51. She was well worth the wait.” They reside in San Ramon, Costa Rica. “Pura Vida.”
