Sylvia Araya ‘82 MD works in the health ministry in Costa Rica.
Francis Moore ’82 was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons in the Diocese of Fresno on October 5, 2019. He currently serves as the Chief of Operations at St. Francis Parish in Bakersfield.
The Class of 1989 held their 30th Reunion on August 17, 2019 in the BMHS Schneider Retreat Center. It was a beautiful summer night on campus as the only class that won the Annual Homecoming Week Spirit Games all four years enjoyed food, music, and catching up with classmates. One of the highlights of the reunion was a campus tour – which most in attendance enjoyed – that included a toast in Mr. Wolfenbarger’s room (right) and a coordinated cheer in the gym with an assist from class members, and current BMHS faculty, Brian Haynes ’89 and Amy Meehan ’89. The class also made a gift to the school to purchase a permanent Christmas tree for the front lawn of campus. It was a special night for a special class.
